(A). Respiration :-

(i) Respiration is essential for all living organisms.

(ii) It involves taking in oxygen from the environment

(iii) Oxygen is used to break down food molecules.

(iv) This process releases energy for cellular functions.

(v) The energy meets the needs of the cells.

 

(B) Exhalation :-

(i) Exhalation is the process of breathing out air from the lungs.

(ii) It expels carbon dioxide produced during respiration.

(iii)The diaphragm relaxes, reducing lung volume.

(iv) Air is pushed out through the nose or mouth.

(v) This process helps maintain gas exchange balance
